ChatGPT: AI Content is Getting Very Good – Travis Jamison

“This week OpenAI publicly opened up the beta/testing version of ChatGPT… AND IT IS INSANE. It’s open to anyone, for free, so just sign up for an account and play with it here.”

Big Idea: Many say that AI won’t be replacing human writers anytime soon. I’m not so sure. AI is amazingly good now. Wait to see what another year or two brings.

“Artists, writers, and other creatives will need to adapt. Some creatives will see huge efficiency gains; many others will become obsolete. As AI improves, the demand for human artistic work may disappear or greatly diminish.”

AI and the end of Honest Marketing

“In the past, marketing was about creating content that was both authentic and useful. But now computers are making content so fast that we can’t tell what is real anymore. The end of marketing as we know it has arrived!”

Big Idea: AI tools are being widely used for content, images, and deep fake videos. The content is already pretty good and it’s getting better. The work of a creator will change drastically in the next few years.

Big Idea: Artificial Intelligence is getting good enough to create award-winning artwork and decent written content. It’s only going to get better from here.

The internet made distribution free. Now AI is coming for content creation. There are big changes on the horizon for creators and media companies.

I had a blast replacing our 100 or so blog posts with AI-generated images. Was it worth $45? I think so. On average I would say it took a couple of minutes and about 4-5 prompts per blog post to get something I was happy with. We were spending more time and money on stock images a month with a worse result. Not only was this swap fun, but having unique and memorable images will help you, the reader, remember and retain our content better.

How to Scale Quality Content Using Artificial Intelligence

How to Scale Quality Content Using Artificial Intelligence

“Using traditional SEO tools and manual writing processes, it can be hard to scale quality content. But with artificial intelligence (AI), you can create a scalable strategy that will ensure all of your content is at the highest possible quality.

My latest guest on the Go For Launch podcast is at the forefront of helping companies use AI to scale their content creation efforts.

Pankil Shah is the CEO of Outranking.io an AI platform for writers, editors and SEO professionals to create content that ranks.”

AI is transforming content creation. While it’s not perfect yet, a major competitive advantage can be gained by scaling up your content creation with tools like this.

What could you accomplish if you could 10X or 100X your content creation with artificial intelligence tools?

One of the examples is automatically creating articles out of podcasts.

Here is another article on the GPT-3, the deep learning application that can produce human-like text. Computers are going to do a lot more work in the near future. Expect massive disruption. This is why I think UBI (Universal Basic Income) will be essential. If computers can drive our cars, write our blog posts, and cook our hamburgers, what do we need humans for?

Of course, there are also opportunities in every disruption. There will be services helping companies create content, build backlinks, etc. with AI.

How Good Is AI at Writing Content

There has been a lot of press written about GPT-3, deep learning that can “produce human-like text.” Contentyze is an early startup in this space. Their app is free to try now if you are interested.

I’ve experimented with it a little. While the content is readable, it’s not coherent for the topics I tried.

There is no question that AI is going to put a lot of people out of work in the future. However, we are not there yet.

There are big business opportunities in this space. Wait until the SEO agencies start figuring this out at scale.

Anne-Laure Le Cunff of Ness Labs experiments with the AI tool GPT-3 and makes some predictions on how it will be used in the future.

John’s Option: Artificial Intelligence is still in its early stages so the quality of output is not there yet, but it will improve quickly. It’s also a very buzzworthy topic, so doing things with GPT-3 is likely to generate some attention.
